In despair I bowed my head;
“There is no peace on earth” I loudly said;
“For hate is prolonged,
What is right, what is wrong
Crestfallen, the feeling it is.
Is there hope? Abashed, thus facing the
 “strong””

Peace on earth, goodness to men!
Then the silence was pierced through
the screams that come more loud and deep:
“God is not dead nor does He sleep;
The wrong shall fail,
The right shall prevail,
With peace on earth, goodness to men.”
Then come serenity piercing through
the disarray
Retrieving back from what has decayed
He has worked a way back
Back to tranquillity that was meant to stay
