Revive Our Hearts Afternoon: 29 Dec

“The Afternoon of 29th of December is focused especially on Reviving our hearts.
It will be a time for personal reflection to explore how God wants to bring personal revival within us.
Some spaces for introspection are available and also a couple main seminars are available to guide our reflections. (A reminder to attend the “Generational Influences: Family Mapping” Seminar with your trio)”

1. Reflection and Prayer

Through personal prayer & quiet space

UPPER ROOM / 06:00–00:00

Need a calm place to reflect on what you have been hearing from God? Feeling inspired to pray for God to Revive the nations? Come to the Personal Prayer Space in the Upper Room. There are interactive prayer stations, including a room designated as a quiet space to sit and pray in silence.

Through pastoral care & prayer room

UPPER ROOM / 14:00–17:30

You may be aware of things in your life that are hindering your ability to discern and follow God’s calling or receive his love. Perhaps you sense God drawing you closer, but you also feel resistant. Or maybe you are fearful, find it difficult to hear God, struggle with addiction, are unwilling to forgive, or feel guilty that, unlike your friends, you are “not into all this

God stuff.” Perhaps you just want to have a mature Christian pray with you. The Revive pastoral care team is trained to guide you in prayers of confession, freedom, affirmation, restoration, healing, and blessing—supporting you as you bring these issues to Jesus and seek to share the gospel wherever you go. Come alone or with friends.

2. Revive our Heart: Walk Through

Explore an artistic, multi-sensory, interactive experience fully immersed in different global perspectives and Biblical concepts. Engage all senses with the help of a guidebook, and plan to leave understanding God in a fresh, new way based on the first five chapters of Acts alongside current culture.

3. Seminars

We encourage you to attend the Generational Influence: Family Mapping seminar with your trios. The exercise of doing our family mapping can be incredibly eye-opening to some of the blessings and sins that we have inherited from our families. The first step to breaking chains in our lives is to identify what some of these chains might be, and some might be chains that have been going through generations. We encourage you to prayerfully process some of your family mapping in your trios as sometimes God uses outsiders to help us see.

15:45 – 16:30

🌟1) Generational Influences: Family Mapping | DM Main Hall

Our family of origin impacts how we function and think, often in unconscious ways. This seminar will help you gain greater awareness about how your past is shaping your present struggles, discern growth pathways, and achieve greater emotional freedom and healing.

2) Forgiveness – finding the door to freedom | K Hall

Why should I forgive?
I want to forgive but how do I do it?
Carrying our resentment and pain actually weighs us down. Though counterintuitive, forgiveness is the path to freedom. Come and wrestle together with the whys and hows of forgiveness as we look at scripture and experience the healing that the gospel brings.
